Didier Cuche’s ski technician used Vola liquid LF and HF Red on his skis. The technician for Albrecht, Berthod and Carlo Janka is using a lot of LF Red 200g. (he has ordered 30 pieces more) and Janka was racing on LF Red 200g when he won the GS in Val d'Isère.
The service technician for Aubert, Lizeroux and Grange used Vola RO21, SLG, diamond files, file guides, and our edge tool Pro. Marie Marchand Arvier’s skis were waxed 100% with VOLA for her silver medal performance (VSR, VSR LF, HF Yellow, molybden yellow and HCF oil).
On the Nordic side from around the World Cup: The French ski team used Vola FD 300 powder in Rybinsk for a 2nd place and continued to use it last week-end in Val Ditrento with really high gliding results. The French ski team used Vola kick waxes at the Val Ditrento world cup (the choice a result of comparative tests with other waxes).
Vola will have a service man in Garmisch for the alpine world junior championship, both to test waxes and offer samples to each nation represented.

- World championship in Val d'Isère : Marie Marchand Arvier from France who finished 2nd in the super-G was 100% VOLA :
1) VSR
2) VSR LF
3) Pro HF Yellow solid
4) New propulsor molybdene yellow
5) Oil HCF on edges.
- We have feedback from the world cup that Manfred Pranger's technician is mostly using the Vola EDS base wax.
- Snowboard : Marion Kreiner is the Austrian racer who won the parallel GS at the world snowboard championship.
She came to the Vola booth at ISPO and presented herself because she was racing with VOLA wax at these championships.
- Nordic : Jean-Marc Gaillard from the French ski team finished 2nd in the world cup in Rybinsk with the VOLA FD 300 Nordic powder
- Biathlon : the entire French ski team used the FD 300 and the FD301 during the world cups in Oberhof. Some of the gliding times were the best of the races.
